Dream Dates was established on September 4, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Jakarta. Built on an artisan bakery concept, we began with a passion for traditional baking and a commitment to creating fresh, handcrafted products using premium ingredients.
As a local artisan bakery, we focus on freshly baked breads and cakes made without preservatives, ensuring quality, freshness, and authentic flavors in every product. Inspired by our culinary journey and dedication to halal standards, we continue to serve food and beverages that combine craftsmanship, natural ingredients and modern taste.
Today, Dream Dates Also offers a selection on natural health drinks and aims to grow as a modern halal restaurant in Jakarta, blending artisan bakery excellence with a premium dining experience.
Dream Tour was founded by Dream Group, a company specializing in Hajj and Umrah travel services. Every year, Dream Tour assists thousands of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia, providing trusted pilgrimage services and professional support for a smooth and comfortable journey.
The Covid-19 virus came, causing the Dream Tour Company to stop operating. Umrah trips were canceled, all flights were closed and all employees were forced to be laid off. The owners started to find other ways during the pandemic, such as developing food made from dates.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dream Group established Dream Dates, an artisan bakery in Jakarta dedicated to providing fresh and high-quality food and beverages. We recognized that customers needed healthier options, so we began producing fresh bread and beverages made daily without preservatives.
Dream Dates has grown into a standalone artisan bakery and coffee shop and has moved to Menteng, Central Jakarta. We continue to develop our menu with a focus on specialty coffee, main courses, freshly baked pastries, and handcrafted bakery creations, offering a refined dine-in experience in Jakarta.
